How long will the Lasik procedure take?

Answered By Lanny Frankel, Editor

On the day of the surgery, you should be at the clinic or hospital one hour before the surgery time. You will be treated for about 20 minutes. The laser treatment will take five minutes for each eye. This includes forming the flap, and doing the laser underneath the flap. Your family will be accommodated at the laser suite. And a family member should drive for you.
